My Inquisimunda painted model thread.
« on: July 31, 2016, 04:18:21 PM »
I've been a long time member of this forum but not showing much of my work. Partly because it's not that good but also I don't always remember to. Anyway I'm currently playing Inquisimunda a lot so I thought I'd put up my latest work. I hope it amuses.

From the Outlanders Kickstarter, the Marshall.

The Shaman.

Bird with a strange hat.

Guy with a blunderbuss.

Cyber dags.

Side view of cyber dags.

Slaaneshi witch.

A Dwelvis. The company former known as Icon miniatures made this bizarre thing. It will be used in my Inquisimunda games as Elvo Predly abhuman pub singer and axe wielding bouncer.
Paraquat Welcomes Careful Drivers a sort of narrative blog.

Slag Valley Bullett in the grim darkness of the far future, there is a newspaper.

One of the first batches from the KS that I have seen painted.
I particularly like your take on the Hounds.
Bravo, that man!

You'll be glad to hear I've undercoated some of my Me and my Shadow kickstarter models too. I'll have them finished by Christmas!  ;D

So I've finished some more models to populate my burgeoning Sci Fi settlement, and here they are. Those of an observant ilk will notice I've put some fencing behind my models to give them a more rustic feel.

The Thumb of the Emperor, blasphemous Imperial art installation.

Alien skin dog.

Sci Fi mechanic.

Pseudo Jokaero.

Customs Officer.

His droid.

Robo Duck

Noif Herder

A Priest.

These models are all from Blind Beggar Miniatures. Comments and criticism welcome. I have written some frightfully hilarious prose here if you're interested.

I like the end result on those very much, sir.
First time that I have seen some of them coloured in.

The thumb is brilliant and gave me a good chuckle, but not half as much as reading the blog entry.
Removable calculator indeed.

More progress has been made in my quest to eradicate unpainted miniatures in my house!

My space civilian from Moonraker miniatures.

From Blind Beggar, the alien bar welding bully.

Mayor Cobblepot

Some little git with a gun.

Another Outlander.

Female Outlander.

Special Forces Outlander. He reminds me of me, with that shiny forehead.

Mick Jagged

Missed leg day guy.

Shotgun Guy.

Some more Cyber Dags.

The rudest Skaven in my collection.

A nearly completely scratch built giant rat.

For more pics and words check out my blog, comments and criticism welcome.

Just a quick update and a question really. Firstly the models.

Now i bought themover 15 years ago, i think they were TSR models and I have absolutely no idea what they are. So the question is what are they? I'm going to use them in Inquisimunda as aliens called Sharts, their defence is the ability to cause an hallucinogenic reaction in things that threaten them. A future game will include them, some smugglers, law enforcement and environmentalists. I also painted up a vindicare Assassin but the matt varnish went chalky so I'm waiting for better weather to try to revarnish.

Inconceivably bonkers that they simply have to fit in.

I have some of those Moonraker minis still awaiting paint. You've made them look good, might dig mine out. Always interesting to have civilians to get caught in the crossfire!

Cheers. They're lovely models with lots of detail on them, civilians are always geting in the way in The Grim Darkness Of The 41st Millennium!

Love your selection of civilian miniatures. I really dig the two cyborgs in the last set of photos.
