Hello, I'm Mauled from Hull, Yorkshire.

I'm coming back into "the hobby" after spending my late teens and early 20's simply accumulating the stuff. I was something of a 40kid from 3rd edition to the beginning of 5th, but now for me it's all about fantasy skirmish games, like Song of Blades and Heroes and (eventually) Frostgrave. I play Blood Bowl too, mostly on FUMBBL.

I have something of a weird fetish for old GW monopose plastics like you might find in Heroquest or Battle Masters and I don't really now why. Striking simplicity maybe? Reaper Bones tick all my boxes too as a tight Yorkshireman

Anyway, I look forward to eventually posting some of my simple works and checking out some of the more historical sections also!

If you do happen to be the right side of the bridges then there's a new Independent gaming store opened on Hessle road. Near Boyes mind you it's worth having a look in there too.( There's also One on road if your the wrong side too)Plus Theres Two on George street.

And if you get up to Scarborough for a day trip, there are (4?) local clubs, the largest of which meets Mondays and Thursdays on Roscoe Street, snooker club above the dance studio. Sometimes get 40 or 50 people in playing an assortment of games. (But the assortment can vary by the week)
