Hi!

Great paint job! !! And sadly true text.
As I'm starting an Italian platoon for CoC, I'm very interested in the colours you used for the uniforms!

Grazie!
Marco

As always absolutely great painted figures and vehicles and in addition the highly interesting text about the Italians - really great job from you again, Nick!

In the course of my research for my Abyssinians, I also dealt with the Italian army, and I therefore fully agree with you that the Italian soldiers have historically been treated unfairly until now.

As you say - referring to the soldiers themselves, they were no worse or better than their allies, or adversaries.
As usual, the problem were the higher commands.

@all:Thank you for all the kind words. It's much appreciated  :D
@Remgain: I'm sorry, but I can't reveal the paints just yet, as the recipe will be included in the upcoming book Setting the Scene 2: The Mediterraneanby a Pat Smith.

Today it's back to the early period of the war due to the latest release for Chain of Command called Blitzkrieg 1940. It's full to the brim with useful information, new scenarios and some rules amendments to give you that extra "Early War Feeling".

I've been eyeing that little cutie that is Warlord Games' plastic Panzer 38(t) for a while now, but only now went ahead and got me one. It was painted up within a week and mighty pleased I am too.

On another note Pat of Wargaming with Silver Whistlefame has posted pictures of his new terrain mat along with the figures and tanks I painted up for his upcoming book Setting the Scene 2: The Mediterranean. So should you've not already done so anyway (if not, why not?) I encourage you to use the link provided above to pay his Blog a visit. It's definitely well worth your time, not only to see my shoddy brushmanship set in scene (no pun intended here) brilliantly, but more so for all the inspiration provided there.

38t is my favourite tank ever! You’ve done a beautiful job on it!

Those tracks look amazing. So much better than the older Warlord plastic kits.

That 38t is a czechsy thing, indeed.
