Nice work on the Stug - is that a Warlord model?

@ Truscott Trotter: Yes it's the Warlord one with some modifications. Unfortunately I'm not aware of another early StuG in 1/56.

Being in a Chain of Command influenced early war mood and maybe also a little megalomaniac at times I created a (a little more than) 4 feet wide canal for use in Holland, Belgium and northern France.

Great looking board and painting - tho I don't think that 2 pdr would last long out in the open like that  lol

Beautiful. A lovely scene.

I used exactly the same push-pin as harbourside mooring bollard in one of my LPL scenes a few years ago - it’s just right  :)

ooh. that's lovely.. if I can add just one thing .. the rope for the boat really needs to be smaller, it would look better IMHO.

Thanks for all the encouragement!  :D

@Captain Blood: Whom do you think I have the inspiration from  ;D
@Shahbahraz: You're right of course. I was in a bit of a hurry to get it done, but it has been replaced in the meantime.

On it goes with some addtitions to my BEF:

followed by a T-26 for Operation Barbarossa:

And a Panzerjäger I... bad casting quality from both Warlord Games (as sometimes with their older resin kits) and PerryMiniatures (as always with their metals >:( )
