1/48th scale aircraft
« on: September 20, 2016, 10:40:21 PM »
Just a quick heads up because we noticed that Boyes (north of UK department store) have a range of 1/48th scale pre-painted clip together aircraft kits (in the toy dept, not the model dept)

Roughly £5 each there are the usual ME109, Spitfire, Zero, but also Mig-3, and a couple of "scout planes" that look a bit like a Vought Corsair. Each plane seems to come in a choice of two colour schemes, and for pre-painted they look quite reasonable.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Great minds (and so on)
Noticed them in Hull,Only a spitfire and a zero in the north so I might have a to drag my self across the river
And look on 'road ( but that means going east so I might just check the Beverley store instead 😁)
But thanks for the reminder.
