Long John's Leg
« on: September 21, 2016, 12:54:37 PM »
Source of 28mm John silver figures I know of these with the left leg missing which is correct by the book I wonder if anyone does a right peg leg

Foundry , Front rank both left

Because Eddie Izzard in Sky TV Treasure island right leg missing,  well it is on my TV but leg aside I thought this was very poor production, and no jokes about being a left footer  lol

From the book Treasure Island Quote "His left leg was cut off close by the hip, and under the left shoulder he carried a crutch, which he managed with tedexterity, hopping about upon it like a bird"

There's Long John Pewter (har har) from Ral Partha. A fairly small mini, closer to 25mm, but a nice sculpt. He has a right peg leg:

Reaper has Peg Leg Pete - although he doesn't have a peg leg at all:

Black Scorpion has the guy on the right. A bit larger than 28mm, but nothing too bad:

North Star has a Long John Silver in this pack:

Do you watch Black Sails?
I am not sure which leg he is missing in that programme.

I am not familiar with Black Sails, if it does not involve Antiques, Cake making or Ballroom Dancing, it wont be on the BBC, lol however I see it has been streamed on Youtube so I shall try and catch it that way
