Dead Man's Hand Battle Report
« on: 29 September 2016, 09:29:12 PM »
I have posted a battle report from a resent game of Dead Man's Hand on my Blog. All figures and terrain is my mate Dave's, so I can't take any credit.

Here is a link

And here are a couple of photos to show I am not wasting your time.

Saw this over on TMP.  Wonderful pictures and a nice simple report.  Nicely done!

A great report. Superb scenery. Are there any WIP photos of how these boards were made?

I can only echo everyone's comments - fantastic.

The thing that stands out for me is the way the buildings sit in the landscape rather than with most boards where they sit on the board, the tuffs etc blend them in really well.

I like the rutted street which differentiates it from the surrounding terrain. This appears to be a diorama rather than a wargaming board.

Are the buildings attached to the board or do they sit in pre designated places?

This is inspirational - thanks for posting.

Glad you liked it. I love gaming on Dave's terrain as it is so immersive.

the buildings sit in holes cut to the size of the base. there is a small degree of variation possible as a few of the buildings have the same size footprint.

Where was it resent to?

Brilliant - looks fantastic and an AAR done just right; takes you through without loss of interest (which can happen when there's too many words and not enough pics). Congrats to all concerned.

Where was it resent to?

Eh...?

He's poking fun at the OP which states "here is a resent game..." as opposed to "here is a recent game..."
