You hand made all those crates individually? With wood cubes and plasticard? They look amazing, but I think you're insane! The speeder looks terrific too.

Seriously! That's an insane amount of work. They do look very distinctively Star Wars tho.

They also look like a certain companion from Portal...

SotF, funny you should say that, my geeky buddy at work mentionned it today. I had no clue, I've never played Portal.

It's worth at least a playthrough and its rather easy to get ahold of.

Time for an update. I've been incredibly busy IRL since the last time I posted, so pardon the bit of threadomancy.

Let's get to it then...

These are the core elements of two of my platoons. They are Rebel Naval Troopers and Imperial Srormtroopers. I've got Rebel Commandos and Pirates in the works. If everything goes smoothly, you should see the last two in 2018...

Next up, some jungle flora.

These were made with dollar store plastic plants. I know some of you don't really like the look of these in general, but they suit my needs.

I've also managed to paint some stuff that was already built.

Curved walls and beacon/antenna thingies. They're part of my "smuggler's-outpost-on-a-jungle-planet" project. Speaking of which, here's the painted contraband...

I might have gone a bit over the top with the weathering, but I figure metal crates in a smuggler's outpost on a jungle planet would look pretty scruffy after a few hours. Plus, it looks Star Wars-ish. If you like them and would like to get your own, check out Crooked Dice's webstore. I saw something there that's pretty close to them. It's really similar to these. So similar in fact that you could think they were made by the same person... ;) ;) ;)

How do you carry those crates? With a Speeder Truck or a Repulsor Skid, of course!

I had a lot of fun with these. The truck is an original design but the skid was directly lifted from Star Wars Rebels.

Finally, some group pictures.

Not the best shots, but since I haven't gotten to building my terrain tiles yet, these will have to suffice. They'll give you an idea of the scale, I guess. Anyway, I hope you guys like them, and as usual, comments are welcome. I'll try to post an update in less than six months!
