Hey Gamer Mac,

It was the original plan, but I decided to make the gun remote controlled from the passenger seat, kinda like the harpoon gun on the snowspeeders. I'll probably add a targeting display on the console in front of the passenger seat. It'll further differentiate the armed recon version from the civilian one.

What an amazing thread this has become.
These 'How-To's' are brilliant, such patience and precision.
 :-* :-*

Really appreciate the time taken to show us the process.
Thank you, sir.

Annnnnd I'm back.

I didn't have much time for hobby stuff in 2018, but 2019 is a bit better on that front so far. I haven't built or painted much for my 28mm Star Wars project since my last posts here. Here's what I managed to do.

Two sad, unfinished conversion jobs... Oh well, you have to (re)start somewhere! My incredible dislike of The Last Jedi could partially be to blame (in my Top Ten of SW movies, it currently sits between The Star Wars Holiday Special and the first Ewok movie, Caravan of Courage, which are both turds if you're wondering). I did, however, manage to build a 1/1 Jawa for Halloween...

Anyway, more to come soon. That Jawa is putting the pressure on his dad to have a game of SW-flavored Galactic Heroes... :D

Totally agree with The Last Jedi comments. It doesn’t fill me with a new hope for the next/newest film! Maybe The Mandalorian TV series will give you the inspiration you need!

Great work on those conversions. I don’t recognise the base models you’ve used..... ???
