Ripper Street Series 5 has landed
« on: October 12, 2016, 03:49:29 AM »
All six episodes seem to be available now on Amazon Prime. I have only watched the first one - common sense has prevailed and I am going to bed now, but probably will have to watch all the rest tomorrow. It looks as good as ever; Jedediah Shine is back and in charge of Leman Street; it clatters along at a pace and hopefully will be a cracking finale

Bizarre how they give this no build up at all, given how much they must invest in making it...  Thanks for pointing it out.

Brilliant series, odd ending sad to see it go but all good things must come to an end. At least it was not dragged out for far to long, like far to many programmes have been.

Sadly i was frustrated by the geography of the series

There should be the offices and warehouse for the Co Op opposite the police station and the Brown Bear pub was in the wrong place.

Spot the man who worked in Leman St for years....  ;)

Incidentally, my brother was in the police and worked in Brick Lane with a descendant of one of the policemen on on the Ripper case, while I worked with the great grandson of Lusk of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee...

Perhaps I'lll give it another go...
