This was a lot of fun to paint, but I had a really hard time painting the face.

Looks great pat, I can't really see anything I would've done differently, you created the great cartoony feel in a nice way. I hope to see some more okko minis from you in the future ;)

Well here is my first painted Okko mini, I am sure I will buy all of them and paint them up now and then so eventually I have them all painted, because I am a sucker for samurai/geisha/oni  :D

The minis are 28mm scale and they are made by Hazgaard, here is a link to the site http://www.okko-thegame.com/, it's actually a board game with cardboard characters but you can exchange them with the minis ones you finish them so you can play right away.

If you don't mind surfing through a foreign language site then you should definately check this blog and it's scenery http://unofficial-okkothegame.blogspot.com/

And also check this forum for more info

Thanks, I don't really know any thing about Okko. I just really like the look of these figures and would like to add them to my collection.
