Those Pulp Figures Cavemen
« on: November 08, 2016, 08:47:06 PM »
You can never have enough wild savages, crazed brutes or inbred-throwbacks, so I though I would paint up a pack or two of Pulp Figures wonderfully animated cavemen.

Bob Murch packs a ton of personality into these nifty neaderthals.

Each pack came with a nice selection of primitive weapons.

I went too far with the grime and grunge on the skin, but they look passable on the tabletop.

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Those are brilliant, and I dont think you can go to far on dirt and grime, especially on cavemen!

Some of my favourites by Mr. Murch.

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

I blame it on the resurrection of my wet palette.

Actually the whole year has been wonderfully busy. Scads of stuff I haven't even taken a photo of!

Really nice work! 8)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Indeed. Sadly ironic. When I don't paint - or paint very little - I take more photos.  When I'm productive, I can't be bothered.

I use the same bench & lights for photos as for painting, so there is that...

Well, in that case,: Dont take any pictures yet.
I am sure I am not alone in not wanting to interrupt your mojo.

I count myself very lucky to have separate set-ups for prepping, painting, and photos (although the lamp I use for prepping doubles as one of the light sources for photography)!

I share the same dilemma. My painting lights are my photography lights.

However, very lucky for the space I have to enjoy my hobby with my friends!
