Help! Space miner/worker heads in 28mm?
« on: November 04, 2016, 01:51:57 PM »
Hi everyone!
I need your expertise in miniature manufacturers.  I'm looking for heads in 28mm scale which could fit with GW Imperial Guard miniatures with a miner/construction worker look, a bit futuristic if possible, but modern would be a good option too.
here are some photos to show what I looking for.

Do you know any manufacturer which make them?
Thanks in advance chaps :D

Space miner type:

Or modern type:

First port of call would be Crooked Dice:

If you look through the spare heads in their Accessories section you will likely find something useful.

For the modern look, you could look at the Crooked Dice Hard Hat Heads, which match your examples perfectly.

As for the futuristic 'space miners' (everything sounds futuristic when you add 'space' in front of it, doesn't it? lol ), you could basically use any helmet and/or gasmask and explain it away. Heck; even Space Marine helmets might work! You're pretty spoilt for choice in that department.

Some examples:

Puppetswar Legionairy Closed Helmets
Puppetwars Ranger Heads
Mad Robot Shock Trooper Heads
Pig Iron Kolony Inner Guard Heads
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...
Find a Way, or make one!

Thanks mates for your help :D
I will purchase the Anvil ones, which are the most close to my idea.

And yes, all sounds more futuristic when is "space-something" haha lol

The Cultist weapons pack from NorthStar has interesting heads with breather units on for a mining style look.

Look at the Prof's LATEST LAM sci-fi minis range. Some group potential there.
