In the third pic it looks like they are doing a song-and-dance number. Not quite sure we're ready for a West End musical about the Indian Mutiny, mind. :)

Lovely stuff, as usual.

Let me tell you this, my young padawan: if West End is ready to run a show like "Book of Mormon" (which I incidentally watch in Stockholm last Sunday) I'd say that no one will raise an eyebrow to 'Animal Tallowed Cartridges, the Musical!'.

Thanks guys, right I've been given a bit more info on the Officers uniforms. The hat band should be white and not in the facing colour and they should have cuffs on their coats in the facing colour. So a couple of photos of the altered figures are in order I think :)

Couple more packs finished in 2017 :) This time IMREB 1c Mutineers in native dress and IMBC 17 Maudes battery.
The chap on the far right in the Brit photo is a member of the Bengal Invalid Artillery and the chap next to him is from the 64th foot. The remaining two are Royal Artillery.
Hopefully get a lot more of these done in 2018.

Thanks chaps

Beautiful, what colours do you use for the Indian chaps if I may ask?

Right Ben here goes

White is GW Dawnstone, Coat de Armes horse tone grey, CDA horse tone light grey, then white any white.

Beige is CDA horse tone dun, highlighted with the same colour mixed with white and then more white added and highlighted again.

Flesh is GW Mournfang brown, highlighted with the same colour mixed with white and then more white added and highlighted again.

Black areas are simply highlighted with Vallejo black/grey ( I can't remember the product number)

The wooden areas on the musket and the footwear is GW xv88 highlighted with the same colour mixed with white. I paint fine lines on the musket to give the impression of wood grain.

That's the main colours, I'm sure you have your own recipe for metallics and red etc. I hope you find this helpful  :)

Great, neat paintjob, as white is "difficult" color! Congrats!

Right this is the start of a unit of the 1st Madras Fusiliers (Neill's Bluecaps) for the Indian Mutiny. This is pack IMBC 10 from the excellent Iron Duke Miniatures. More to come....
