TBC's Frostgrave Thread:The Master arrives!

So I've been thinking about a purpose-built gang for a while.  Inspired by a classic RPG supplement I decided to theme my gang.

So I give you The Apprentice

Woah! Unexpected model when I read "Apprentice"! But also...unexpectedly cool. Damn lovely brushwork on a great model.

Thanks Mate!  I've had the idea for this warband dancing in my head all year and i've been slowly collecting the pieces.  I posted the Apprentice first as I still need to get the rest from the States when I'm there in two weeks. :D.

Just finished the first couple of Spirits/Soldiers, and based up the Apprentice as well.

I guess the warband's theme is "celtic/barbarian spectres/undead", maybe?

THATS IT !!!!! the jaegermeister scenario ... the warband comes across 1000 year old jaegermeister jugs ,each has to take a drink to continue.
on a 1-5 they head off in a random direction, on a 6-10 they turn up halfway through the next scenario.
on a 10-15 they have the power of projectile vomit a +5 ranged attack then they pass out.
16-19 they arent sure which warband they belong to and just attack the nearest figure at -2 fight.
on a 20 they stagger back into the camp clutching a Basilisk tooth and walking funny saying they met the woman of their dreams ... lol

Ok, I really need to find some acrylic based primer spray :)

Thanks Mate!  I also changed the antlers, the stock ones were more like a moose than a stag.  Still a bit of work to do and I'll paint up the raven separately but add it when they're done. I'm using the old Deities and Demigods AD&D book for inspiration, the Master of the Hunt from the Celtic Mythos.  So instead of humanoid soldiers, I'm going to use Otherworld wolves, giant and normal as well as the 'ghosts' to represent those mortals who heard and then answered the call of the Wild Hunt.  Here is the art I am roughly using to work off of
