JP and I had two games today from the Thaw of the Liche Lord campaign./

Here's my write up of the first game - The Storm of Undeath.
https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2017/05/12/fg-storm-of-undeath-part-one/

the prone figures are the armoured skeletons prior to their "revival".

A fun and simple scenario we did in about an hour or so, which surprised us.

We then had enough time to go on to the next scenario which took longer and was much more cinematic and bloody !!

 ;)

Well I wasn't going to have my own topic, but here goes, as otherwise I'll clog the board up with more junk.

JP and I have worked through all the scenarios in the main rule book, so I thought now was a good time to link to my postings on my blog roll. The latest postings are for The Library scenario.

The link below, includes lots of Mordheim stuff which is where I started out a decade ago, but the more recent stuff is Frostgrave stuff, even if it is a very warm version of Felstad !

https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/category/mordheim/

We had a second game, The Complex Temple, and I'll be posting that later today/tomorrow...

There may also be feline interludes.

Great photos and report.  We just played this scenario on Saturday. (Report posted soon!)
Like in your game, we found it to be very bloody as everybody raced into the open squares.

Our game also ended much earlier than our usual games do...

Here's my take on Run of the Rangifer game I did with JP on last friday:

https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2017/05/15/fg-run-of-the-rangifer-part-one/

A two parter to save download rates as usual.

Rangifer down !

two more games to follow up later this week.

The first of two games Jim and I played on Monday, a straight head to head with two new Warbands. I'll worm Jim's wizard's name out of him shortly.

And the second game with Jim - The Silent Tower:

In this one, I actually managed to kill the enemy wizard - kerrching on the XP !

And how to kill an archer, mob them with a Construct a bear-scorpion-thing- a Zombie and an Infantryman.

Here's the start of my Cultist war band - The Cult of the Yellow Sign

https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2017/06/11/the-cult-of-the-yellow-sign/

I now have the first 6 of the war band painted up -  the four in the blog post, plus KIY, plus a war hound, and there are some more Cultists on the table to be done.

There's also some older posts with tables and altars, along with some demons I've done.

Next up is the Imps.

It was indeed a good shot.

For the walls/scenery, I have a tester pot of dark grey matt emulsion done up in a local DIY shop, that means I can standardise all the scenery pieces I use, including bases, and then only use the more expensive Foundry/GW acrylics for the highlighting.

You will in time.

The painting of yellow, and even red, is a bit tricky.
But given the name of the wizard, I had to go back and re-master it.
Lots of ayers over a good foundation is the key.

Some more updates -some Undead to grace the table with, and some more scenery for them to explore.

Ghosts & Ghouls
https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2017/06/20/ghosts-and-ghoulies/

And then a Numinious Occulum, and a load of railings and some gates.
