I would love to have seen the shop assistant's face when you bought that batch of ten, though.

He had to go in the back to get the box with the remaining stock and offered a 10% discount.  lol

Should have cleaned out his stock, but at the time I was trying to be reasonable.  ::)

Acheson Creations do a nice range of fun fantasy houses if some variety is wanted:

Did you tell him what you actually intended to use them for?

Ooh, would love some of those for a different project.  ;D

For some variations, I will try to build the smurf mill and I'm planning to try and recreate an approximation of the King Smurf's castle, using one of the large schleich smurf houses as the base for the center and some of the smaller schleich smurf houses for the annexes and towers and lots of foam, spackle and putty for to blend it all in and add the details.

This is one of the most awesome projects I've ever seen! Love the work on the mushroom houses. Can't wait to see more Smurfs.

No. Somehow the psychological stigma attached to the hobby is still greater to my mind than the fact that I'm a grown man buying 10 smurf houses.  lol

Dare you to take one back now that you have converted it, along with a 28mm Smurf, and explain.

This is going to be the last update with painted stuff until I can do more, but since the first test piece, the sculptor converted a bunch more, including a black smurf, that I've had mastermoulded.

One of the castings was stolen diverted to be painted. Here he is in all his glory:

Seen here next to the original smurf. Please keep in mind these are only halfling size in reality and are show here at several times the actual size.

Brilliant,
The subtle re-positioning works really well.
