These are such great pieces  :o

How you put the faces on the 15mm figures is very artful, as I often find that on the bare metal sculpts there isn’t always a clear face to be seen, unlike on 28mm models where details like lips, brow, nose, cheek and jaw lines etc are ‘ready-made’ for you. It means that you have actually put the face on there, or ‘found’ it in the sculpt, which is very impressive!
My armies:
- Henry VIII's army (WIP) 15mm
- Ancient Germans (28mm)
- Ancient Belgae (Gauls with German allies) (28mm)
- Massilian Greeks (Greeks and Gallic mercenaries/subjects) (28mm)
- A few EI Romans (28mm)
- Handful of WW2 British (15mm)
- A load of old 1993-1999ish Warhammer Orcs and Goblins

These make me both very happy and very sad.

Happy, because they look great, really brilliantly pained and excellent models.

Sad, because your 15mm painting is better than my 28mm painting.

I am jealous!! Your 15mm figures are better than I can paint 28mm! The way you paint the faces is amazing! Can I ask which paints you use?
Thanks!

I could never believe that painting Essex sculpts could one produce so nice faces!  :-*
