What do you think about these gentlemen:

Are they compatible to the new Empress Miniature's ones? Are they historically correct, or only good for VSF?

I like the figures, and it would be nice if they could mixed into a small unit of Empress Minis, but I fear they are the usual Reaper Big Ones ...

Find them in the shop: http://www.reapermini.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=5699&cat=140&page=3

No help to you, I'm afraid.  Your link sent me off looking through that Chronoscope line, though, where I found some nice minis.  But $5 and $7 each; a little pricey.

I have these but no Empress. They are large, I'll try to get a comparison shot up today.

There's something about them that just doesn't look right to me  ???

I much prefer the Empress figures  :)

I think their bayonets are a bit exaggerated...?

They are on the large side. I have the Colonel Titchener that goes with them and is of a size. He is 35mm to the top of his helmet and is slightly taller than a Renegade Early WW1 German.

And Renegade models are known to be rather bulky, right?

Yes, although it seems to vary from range to range. Their early war British are larger than their German counterparts.

Bob Olley sculpted them, and I really love his work. They're all sculpted by different artists so that could explain the scaling issue. If they fit in with something available in larger quantities (e.g. Wargames Factory plastics) they'd be great to add some character.

I am not sure about Empress minis but I'll check them out too.

Agreed. I think it might be the facial hair...or the bayonets...or the helmets...
They look much larger than Empress, also.
I told you so. You damned fools.

I have him too. Awesome mini!  Can't say enough about it. I will pick up the troopers as well on his strengths.

I just got a set of these.. they are beauties - but they are quite a bit beefier than the Empress figures.  I'll try to snap some pics when I get home as well.

There's also a Sergeant in the range:

Anyone got any of these yet?

That is the Col Tichner that Skrapwelder and I were talking about.
