Looks ace.

How about adding a peg to the pillars and a cut on in the floor?  That would assist in alignment and strength.
If you are laser cutting then make the pegs rectangles to help align.  If you aren't then make them round and you can drill them!

I can see this working really well for MERCS!

Keen to see how this project of yours develops! Keep up the good work!
Thanks man! :) I've got a bunch of MERCS figs on my way right now, bought on this forum a while ago. :)

It could certainly be a possibility, but it will increase the cutting time, therefore costs, and more importantly casting-wise it's good to have a flat side (the bottom), adding the peg will complicate the casting remarkably. :(

aww, such a complicate matter. >___< Still gotta find the right solution.

Cheers

Well you could have it on one end, just not the other.

You could have it on both if someone was to make them using a clam/book mould.

When you get them can you please take some scale shots? I can then also pass this onto the MERCS community as a whole too; I imagine I'm not the only one who see's this as a great idea in that community!

Oh, meanwhile, a random pic i took last thursday with the new walls, that will complement the larger building.

Excellent! With your attention to detail and those nice wee bits of graffiti painted on top, these look fantastic! :o

Great job capturing the texture and overall look of concrete walls. A set of these would be very useful.

Thank you! I'm playing with some lens extensions for my tele, i'm finally able to take some proper macros! and the extension costed 20 euros, i'd say a must for everyone willing to take good models photos out there! :)

I have to say, the graffiti don't look very good when reflecting light: the decal paper i used is slightly glossy, and even under several layers of matt varnish it still pops out.
Thank you anyway! :)

The "barricade" walls will be soon available in the Spectre Miniatures store. The modular walls... we'll see, i'm still at the experimental phase! :)

Yesterday i prepared the forms for the straight horizontal sections, now i gotta do the corner section as well. Pics soon, hopefully!

Cheers
