Brigade Games makes some great models that might resemble the cast of Tombstone, Deadwood, and others.

That reminds me that they do near perfect 28mm scale versions of the five central characters from the film, "The Wild Bunch." I recently reviewed them on my blog here -

That Wild Bunch set looks great with paint on them!  I picked up a couple of the Deadwood sets but I'd like to get my hands on the Wild Bunch now too.

Anyone make a passable Cheyenne from Once Upon A Time In The West? Or a Jack Elam?

Sadly not that I've found. That's one of those classic westerns I can't believe has never gotten some 28mm love.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

I think that makes a very useful topic to continue with, so I'll make it sticky!

Thanks, Bloodaxe and all contributors for your input!  :)

Blackwater gulch ran a kickstarter a few years back. It included some miniatures based on movies. Including a nice Clint Eastwood.  Not sure how easy they can be bought.

That's a great idea. Maybe someone can compile all the findings and links into one post so everything is easier to use and find.

Looking for Blazing Saddles?  Knuckleduster will soon have you covered.

Go check out their stretch goals from their kickstarter, several BS figures.  Check out other figures from the line, you'll see lots of famous movie look-alikes as well.  Should be available to purchase on his site soon.

Thanks for the reference to Blackwater Gulch Miniatures and their KS, Za Zjurman.  I had not seen them before. Looks like they are available here:

I think I will put in a small(ish) order and see how it goes.

ebob only has two miniatures innhis Old West range Ramon, a baddy and gunfighter who he cant think of a name for...and they are both excellent
I have a bad case of prescient nostalgia. The future's not what it used to be.
