Those are simply stunning!  :-* I particularly like the 5 o'clock shadow on your Derfel. What technique do you use, if I may ask? I had been using a very thin blackened umber lately, but yours looks so much better.

Agricola's shield strikes me as well. I really like how you weathered it. Care to share that technique as well?

For the 5 o'clock shadow, is a mix very watery of the skin tone with dark blue or dark green, then I apply it in a controlled way.   
   
Weathered shield, I use an old brush with the tip cut, with vallejo burnt umber or chocolate brown, then stippling the areas of the shield in a controlled way. 
 
English is not my native language so I hope you can understand my explanation. :)
