It is all still at the research and sketching stage, but I am planning a flying Shark.

And so it begins.....

I will be building a 1/300th scale Aeronef based on the TSR, Dungeons and Dragons supplement SPELLJAMMER.

My plan is to modernise the offensive armament to include fast fire, breach-loading guns and some larger hull side cannon.

I have already sketched-up a simple blueprint/plan and I may or may not follow it!

Details will be posted here and on my Blog, so stop by and read about the construction and painting.

Great project but it would be preferred if you have everything here first and foremost

Blog entries are fine but they should take a second place to the build.

At long last construction started.....

The hull is being constructed out of Pink Foam, as you can see in the images above I have used five different pieces to construct the hull. The individual parts were cut from foam with a jigsaw, glued together with superglue and then trimmed and sanded to shape.

I then used both sanding sticks and sanding pads to refine the shape before filling any holes with a filler, uPVA glue mix.

Obviously there is still a long way to go, but so far, I'm happy with the progress.
