Thank you a lot Arkoudaki  :) :) :)

My mojo is still there, I have managed to finish two more figures :)

Bear belt bearer of the Big Dog warrior society:

Crooked staff bearer from the Fox or Lumpwood warrior society. The staff worked as the sash from other tribes: it was pinned to the ground and obliged the warrior to make a stand and fight.

Not sure about the staff. The lenght is accurate, but the thickness could be too much. I wanted it not to break once casted...what do you guys think?

I like them both very much. :-*

On first impressions the staff looks massive. I get you don't want it to be too fragile and bendy so have to make a compromise on the thickness.

Personally I'd redo it slightly slimmer, it does look overly large and long. The thickness doesn't help with the length of it either.

Sorry, as I can see how much work has gone into it.

Thank you a lot for your feedback, Malamut, it helps a lot :)

I think I'll redo it then. Rather work a bit longer than having a piece I'm not so happy with ;)

Juan, if you leave the hand opened instead of gluing the staff you can use diferent weapons on it.
And you can also control the size thickness of the staff on a better way. :)

Rui is right. It would also be very difficult to cast as a one piece casting.

Hmm, that's a good idea! I did the hand AND the staff as a separate piece so it could be changed between the warriors. I have done the same thing with all weapons hands on this lot...Do you think it would be better to make open hands instead? I don't know if I can change that now  :?

It depends on the miniature.
The advantage of the open hands is that you can have the same figure with diferent weapons. In this late case it would be better. On the others just leave as they are. They are great. :)
Keep them coming at your pace. You are there already. ;)

That's a good idea, Rui, but I have made all of them with separate hands so I should make spare weapons only for him...I think I'll make another hand with another weapon as an option :)

Here is the new staff:

I think the perspective make it appear bigger than it is, since it's way smaller than the old one... ;)

That too... :D
And the separate hands with weapons is a great option.
Early tribal warfare and late whites vs indians warfare options. :D

That! I want to make a sort of sprue with a bit more modern guns for that  ;)

I show you here my contrary warrior of the "Crazy Dogs Wishing to Die". Unlike contraries on other tribes, the members of this society were only obliged to act as a contrary (and by the Crows, to seek the death in combat) for a season. After that time, they could choose if they wanted to carry on with their vows. The concrete cases I have read of did die fighting though...

And here some detailled photos of warriors of the previous batch I' have been posting on Facebook:
