You should see the Warg sheepdog trials and Mumakil display teams.

Brilliant!

I'd always wondered about the Bombadil custard pie - thanks for solving an age-old mystery!

That moody Witch King is superb - straight outta Angmar!

Amazing work Spaulding. These have been amongst some of my favourite miniatures and you've made them better and now I need to own them again.
The Strider one in particular I remember as being very good. I'm heading over to eBay right now.

White Hand orcs next?

It depends. I've got a pretty full diary of paying work, with more LOTR promised later this spring (but not decided exactly what yet), but if I get a bit of time to myself I may give them some attention.

Thanks for this - an enjoyable blast from the past. The Citadel LotR range were my first foray into miniatures painting as a teenager. I had Boromir on foot and horse, Gimli on foot and... a pony?, some Urukhai foot, and Sauron on his throne. I remember at the time that the throne sculpt just blew my mind, and I really wanted it.
(a pic from someone else's collection)

When I started to paint these figs with enamels, I spilled blue paint all over my desk and I was forbidden from painting anything else.  :?

Love that witchking.
Plenty of interesting parts, while keeping the tone really muted.
Top Notch

The customer asked for the Witch King's knife to have a little more highlighting, to lift it out from the rest of the model and made it more noticeable. I live to serve.

I think you overdid it. Looks too gaudy now.
