Agis "The Expanse" minis
« on: January 14, 2017, 10:37:37 AM »
OK, atm only 1 mini...

Recently "The Expanse" is getting more more attractive, I loved the 1st season of the TV series.
Consequently I dived deep into the books, I like it even more.
With all the talk about Expanse (see: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=97021.0)

I thought it would be a good idea to show my 1st Expanse Martian Marine “Who are we? MMC!”.

The mini is from Anvil Industries Afterlife range (http://anvilindustry.co.uk/AFTERLIFE/Republic/Republic-Commandos)

Painting base on the TV show:

Grand paint job as usual - the similarity of the model is striking, for s moment I thought someone had started releasing these.  8)

Excellent as usual and a very good proxy. My first thought as I watched the series was how close they were in appearance!

Love the mini.

Haven't been aware of the Expanse, but seeing how it's on Netflix, I shall remedy that ASAP.

When I was reading the books I pictured the Anvil minis style armour for the Martian troops. Awesome to see it end up so similar!

Great work!

My take on Bobby Draper from The Expanse. She is introduced in the 2nd book and the 1st episode of the 2nd TV season.
An instant crowd favorite. Who is Bobby? sSe here: http://www.syfy.com/theexpanse/blog/the-expanse-bobbie-draper-first-look

The Anvil Industries Republic Pulse Mech is IMO the perfect look for MMC Goliath Power Armour. Bit beefier than the TV look!

And before anybody is asking again - here is the link to the Anvil site: http://anvilindustry.co.uk/AFTERLIFE/Madison
