And barring that I have a space in my heart for the evil empire but always came back to historicals...

My gaming group were miniature gamers before we got into RPGs.. But, whatever game we were playing had a few of conversions for the genres that we were in (Shadowrun or Deadlands).

Deadlands / Old West
Zulu Wars
Stargate

and for some damn reason the English very Civil war has caught my eye... once I get a sourcebook it may catch some money as well.
