I hope your enthusiasm to push this venture doesn't end in disappointment for you and others :(
It seems it will not.  Patience and perseverance tend to pay off in the long run.

They look fantastic!

One question, though.  Some of those swordsmen seem to be positioned to hold a spear, too. Is that deliberate, or am I misunderstanding?

There has been quality issues, bad flash and heavy moulding lines. Some of the figures are being recast with another company. The wait is still on, but will be worth it, in the long run, l hope.

It will be worth it.

One item that has been different than some kickstarters is the communication level from the originator.

Ah, I read a little deeper on one of the sites.  That figure is a standard bearer, you're right, and it will have the arm repositioned.  It all makes sense, now.  Thanks, Buddy.

Is there a webpage for the range other than the kickstarter?

Looks like these landsknechts have started to show up on ebay.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28mm-Renaissance-Pike-x-40/162937696392?hash=item25efd7f088:g:E28AAOSwHYVaeDRW

Seller has more lots. That is a bit annoying for us who are still waiting.

It just seems to be one excuse after another on the Kickstarter page. As I've said previously, I have given up hope of ever receiving anything.
I have had great experiences with other Kickstarters in the past, this has put me off them a bit now.

I wonder if these are the casts form the Sgt. Mess?  I agree it is frustrating but I think the guy has been upfront at every turn and it seems that he may a waded out of his depth in terms of the scale of the project. The new masters look great and I choose to keep the faith!

The latest update does discuss that some of the sub par castings are being Ebayed to help raise funds for the new mounds and repairs to greens. I think the option was there to receive these figures or to wait for the new moulds. The Sgts Mess castings turned up here and I would suggest waiting for the new ones...
