Hi all,
I got the new release of BB for Christmas and thought I'd create a thread for my Teams as I paint them. I originally had Undead, Elves, Orcs and Chaos back in the day but they are long gone. The new plastics aren't too bad and I've quite enjoyed doing them so far. I need more Blitzers and Black Orks as well as a Troll and Gobbo to finish the Ork team and I've got the Skaven Scramblers set primed and ready to paint. When I've worked through them I will be investing in a Chaos Dwarf team, although the expense may mean it takes a while.

Any how, my Orks so far:

Work in progress Shot

Blitzer

Black Ork Blocker

Thrower

Linemen

One of Each "Type"

The Team So Far

I went for a yellow colour scheme as I will be reserving red for the Chaos Dwarfs.

Hope you like them.
Regards

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work; I want to achieve immortality through not dying.

Absolutely stellar!

I've always been curious about Blood Bowl, ever since I saw it in the olden days of White Dwarf.

I mean, I've always loved the craziness of the miniatures, but I knew nothing of the rules or the game.

I just recently got Blood Bowl 2 for my Xbox 1, and have gotten a crash course in it.  What fun!!

Thanks gents. I have always had a soft spot for Blood Bowl and was quite stoked with the re-release.
I've got the Xbox 1 version as well ( I also had the other version on the 360) which is one of my favourite "time-killer" games.

Excellent paintjob! Loving these.

The bases are really nice, despite being pretty simple. How did you make them?

Thank you for the comments gentlemen. I intend to paint the Chaos Dwarf team in the same colour scheme as my army ( The Hashut Red Hats!!! )

Thanks StreeBushido. The bases are the new 32mm Blood Bowl bases, covered in earth coloured flock. The "grass" is a fine sponge flock I picked up from a hobby shop. I was going to use static grass but this gives quite a worn and trampled look. Once they were fixed with matt varnish spray I applied some white lines to replicate playing field markings.
Hope that's useful.

I managed to generate a little extra "hobby" cash by selling some bits on Ebay and so I've taken the plunge and ordered a CD team. I went for Meiko miniatures and although they are expensive, I really like them.
It may be a while before they turn up so here's a couple of pix from the Comixininos website where I got them.

These should keep me busy for a while!

On a separate note I found a really neat on-line tool for generating rosters which you can print off.

Those are rather nice. Looking forward to seeing them in Red Hats colours. I'm guessing.... red hats?
Did you get the minotaur too? He seems to fit in well with the theme. I like their hobgoblins, and the rearing bull centaur is grand.

lol    Spot on with the red hats!
The minotaur is indeed on order as well and I agree that he fits in well with the rest of them. I've seen quite a few variations on Chaos Dwarf Blood Bowl teams but these are definitely my favourites.

I've drooled over sets of those miniatures for some time.

If I could ever seem to finish off some of my overwhelming number of projects, I'd love to dive in to the Blood Bowl figures....especially the Comixninos type.

Can't wait to see what you do with them.
