The head looks wonderful.
Can't wait to see the rest of the figure.
All this talk has got me interested in this time period again after 35 years.
Picked up some Pro Gloria figures off ebay a few days ago.
My problem is I have been such butterfly about painting lately,
who knows how long my interest will last. :? lol

Has there been a moment to check out the current kickstarter campaign? ;)

Yes, I have been eyeing this every day for about a week.
Plan to get in it, just have not decided at what level.
I do like the figures, wish there were more photos.

Thanks for the comments about the head, I have made several already.... I'm glad it looks like it's from a period woodcut as that's exactly what I'm going for! The first pikemen will be in the next Kickstarter for mounted Knights which will be in late Feb or March.

I'm making Landsknecht and Swiss this year here is a head to prove it....
Will these be for the 1495-1515ish or ~1515-1535ish periods?

Any chance of separate katzbalger in scabbards being offered in the accessories section of the store?

Oh yes, that's a great head. Already liking it way more than the plastic Pro Gloria things. When they were announced I was incredibly hyped. Then the first pictures showed up and there went all my excitement. They look just like Warhamsy models. The proportions, the heads... it just looked wrong. Double bad as I really, really like Pro Gloria's metals!

They look Warhamsy 'cause it's designed by same guy who sculpted the last Empire foot range, complete with giant feathers that look like palm tree leaves. lol

Yes, the feathers were also my personal issue with the plastics (didn't like them on the GW models either). Looking forward to these metal offerings. :)
