This week's post is up! We're looking into the archives of Spectre again, this time focusing on the rarer/out of print figures. There may even be another secret one right at the end...

As always, it's on the blog at http://hntdaab.co.uk/blog/2017/11/24/spectre-miniatures-rare-models/

Spectre did their Black Friday sale and also got a massive restock of most of their product lines. Tempted in by this, I've bought all of the African figures I hadn't picked up which led to this massive pile of lead being on my desk today.

I'll go into more details in Monday's but between a load of new African models and a decision to add a fictional African nation to my world, I felt the need to change the title of this thread. Fingers crossed next year will see some games not using a desert mat!

That's a GREAT idea! All the best!  ;)

Hyena is on the kit list mate, gotta get one. Have a pokemon battle with a GRU dog handler: "German Shepherd, I choose you".

PS: Charge, I'm jealous. Dont get my puddle of goodies til santa meets at the RV.

That blog was one of the first things I found when starting wargaming - its a great read

As for Jungle terrain, luckily my African setting is Eritrea/Djibouti area so I won't fall down the jungle rabbit hole! Its actually going to be a lot of the stuff for Bazistan but with a little more green and a few different buildings. More details on it coming soon!

My brother bravely or stupidly punched a baboon in the face when it tired to steal his embassy bag last week. It was so confused by the action that it just looked at him, then turned around an stole another of the passengers bags before jumping off the safari bus. :D
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Your brother either has an immense amount of luck... or a very strong punch!  lol

Hey chocked it up to luck. And the fact that the other bag had food wich was what the monkey was after in the first place.
He told me he reacted with out thinking, when it reached into the cab. He thought is was trying to grab sister in law so he just reacted with out thinking.
And punched it in the nose.

Hey everyone!

So tomorrow's post is in the pipe (5 by 5) and will be going up at the usual time. However, seeing as tomorrow is the start of December and it's been just over a year since I released the Great Big Wargaming Comparison and started focusing on wargaming, I'm wanting to check in and see how it's going.

To help with that, I've setup a survey on SurveyMonkey. Its really short (takes about 2 minutes to finish) and doesn't ask you for your email. If you could fill it in, I can work out what things I should focus on next year!

Survey is at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/2FXWLKF

Thanks guys! Already had a lot more people than I was expecting and already seeing lots of cool ideas. Survey is open until the end of the month at which point I'll be including the results in my end of year post.

But more importantly, it's time for this week's post! We're starting a new series of posts covering building forces for Spectre Operations. The first post covers the concept of teams for non-insurgent forces so lots of talk of fireteams and such.

As always, it's on the blog at http://hntdaab.co.uk/blog/2017/12/01/spectre-operations-building-a-force-task-orientated-teams/
