Good news! After some organisational issues, I got a message this morning that Operation Dragon's Hoard will be showing at Vapnartak in York on 4th of February 2018. This was an event I was really looking forward to and I'm glad we're able to go and run the game.

The bad news is that because of this my planned posts schedule has gone out the window - I'll be spending much of the next week frantically trying to get as much of the improvement work done as I had originally planned. So any post I've mentioned have been pushed back and 2nd of Feb's post might be shorter than usual.

This week's post is up on the blog. Battle report using Spectre Operations and fighting around the downed C130 I made. It was a pretty exciting game!

If you like my stuff but want more, I also run a facebook page where a lot of my hobby photos and WIP stuff gets uploaded to before hitting the blog as part of my usual posts.

I've uploaded a few early picture of Eureka's new 2000's British which arrived yesterday on my desk. Full impressions coming soon but a sneak peak is on the page at https://www.facebook.com/chargeblog/posts/1593705804038892

Interesting new range, look forward to hearing more about them (but not on Facebook).

It's Monday so time for Wargaming Week. Not as many pictures as I would like - still in the midst of getting stuff ready for York this weekend so lots of things in various stages of painting.

Posted this up on the Facebook page but I finally finished the central objective for the demo game. Much more suitable for something titled "Dragon's Hoard" than simply "get to white SUV"

I'll be putting up more details on how I made it in next week's post (along with WIP stuff). If you want to see it in person, it will be on the table at Vapnartak in York

This week's post is up. Part 2 of Building a Force is looking at adding vehicles to a force in Spectre Operations as well as a few bits of advice for vehicles.

In other news, final reminder that I'll be at Vapnartak in York on Sunday running Operation Dragon's Hoard. Come along and join in the game - I'll be the guy in the green "Spearhead Patrol" t shirt and probably running the OPFOR for most of the day

New Wargaming Week is up - not many good pictures as I'm saving them for the York update on Wednesday.

chap,

firstly impressive painting

but can I be cheeky and ask

1) who makes the AA-12 gunner in the red hat?

2) who makes the pistol shooter supporting a wounded buddy?
GM (me) - you spot a 70 year old grey hair little old lady.. Clutching large leather bound book and a uzi.

“Tom”- “She has a Book!!!”

“Danny”- “I put a bust of M4 fire between her eyes” rolls…

Phil- “if he misses I put a shotgun slug in her face”

That’s the Delta green baby"

Ah both of them were limited release models from Spectre.

1) is from the original kickstarter - he was the Delta Close support gunner

2) was this year's Salute release. They do a yearly special edition figure that is only available at the show or around the same time.

All I can recommend is to watch ebay for them popping up
