Today's post is something super modern. I'm taking a look at Evil Bear's Combat Support Drones - it's a bot with a gun!

Interesting.

The question is then how would they be used?

So in MOH: Warfighter they use a Talon to move through an area that would be dangerous for the troops to go through (a collapsing building) without putting any at risk would be one possibility.

In other cases, it would allow the troops to include a support machine gun without someone having to carry it or they could replace sentries (by reducing the number of people needed by controlling multiple units from one console).

This is a Russian one in development, so not too far off in the future

I read that the Uran-9 was already in use in Syria. So the future is now!  lol
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Today's post is now up, taking a look at Sarissa's latest colonial buildings. These things are great, and I can't wait to get them painted and modded to be ready for the mean streets of Bazistan

Excellent run down on Sarissa's newest buildings.
Can see many locations were they could be used.

Coming to you from a train speeding to London, it's this week's post. Sadly I ran out of time to paint up the Bundeswher so instead I pulled some other figures off the to-do pile.

If you're at Salute this weekend, I'll be nipping around looking to pick up some new goodies, take photos and chat. Keep your eye out for the bag shown below. If you're not there, expect lots of details in the round up on Wednesday.

Your review makes a number of valid points.

I bought the box set when it was released, I occasionally pull it out and look at them then decide that my time would be better spent elsewhere.

One of the issues with all the Wargames Factory figures is that they are not really multipose, there is the base pose and a few options but the basic body poses are a bit strange (moreso with the other ranges) which means you end up with one tennis player serving per sprue etc.

Quite the haul from Salute.
It's hard not to buy at a convention.
Look forward to see it all painted.
