I started the event with six teams already complete! I'm struggling to finish nine and ten :) I think I need to stop with adding detail and just finish... Shields and fabric patterns are killing me!

thanks

I agree that for those who are not top tier, LPL is still an amazing experience. In addition to completing lots of figs you would not have otherwise, the drive to do your best makes all of us improve. I am a better painter now than I was when I entered my first LPL. I try new techniques and take extra time. I get better.

Neldorth - In the same position although had less than 6 at the start complete.

Round 9 has changed its composition to save time already

But hey I love the competition and at the end of it I have to find more space for completed figures - win win

Silly question; regarding voting and interface:

Could the "Submit" button be moved further from the radio buttons?

I was voting and I got the **wrong radio button.  When I tried to shift to the other, intended choice, I **accidentally hit the "Submit" button. And obviously, there is no abort button. Could the "Submit" button be positioned centered instead of flush left? Or further down if there were some blank lines...
...not worried about the stray vote. Just wondered if a small improvement could happen.

**( #badtouchscreen #badnaughtytouchscreen )  :?

Update: I did better in round nine; no miscast votes; still wish the "Vote" button was center justified. [/edit] #fatfingers

Cloudy days make for the best pictures.

Here is the outside staging for my Bretonnian knight entry for round 7

Incidentally, I did cut the lawn after I took this photo! :)

Thanks

I, on the other hand, am lame and suck. For the 3rd week in a row I was unable to get my new team painted. This is the worst I've ever done at submitting new entries in the spirit of the league. I am a little depressed about this and am thinking I shouldn't have entered this year...😟😞

Sorry guys!

There's definitely no reason to feel sorry about! I think we all know those times when real life intervenes with what we'd prefer to do. I myself am struggling to get on with my submission for the last round. Vital parts have yet to be delivered by the post man. Also it's not like you've taken anybody's starting place away. Your kind and encouraging comments on your fellow painters submissons alone helped to make this years (my first btw.) LPL a thoroughly enjoyable affair.

Yeah, I had to repeat this round too.  But at least I've got a new entry for the final round.

I'm sad to say that work this week might mean round 10 defeats me... that or I'll pull a couple of late ones!

Mt five small figs are done for the final round, the large one is still missing hair and metallics... Should I do NMM? Or should I do metallics? That is the question...

Thanks
n.

Finished round 10 this morning! Pictures tonight, and then done!

That was a lot of work, and a lot of fun. But I'm looking forward to the break :)

Thanks

Lots of good things again this round. Well done all those taking part.

I think I'd only risk joining in the LPL if I had a lot of stuff on the workbench nearly done that I could finish off fairly quickly.

FX: man looking at workbench

Actually maybe I should give it a go.

I have the last normal sized miniatures done for round 10 last night, but BIG BROTHER is just started. I donīt really dare to look forward to finish him in time. Painting, drying, varnishing, flocking the base and taking pictures could be a bit steep to handle tonight...  :( Anyway, I may contribute at least something new and even the 15 bonus points would not take me to the top...
