Just to get the thread going here's a photo of HMAS Ariadne.
She's not a scratchbuild, but is one of the Parroom Station models.

A spiffing idea! I currently own two flyers (with more planned):

A British helicopter;


And an airship (heli and Copplestone figure inc. for scale);


Both are scratchbuilt.
I prefer the dirigible to the aeronef, y'know...
