Hello chaps and chapesses,

First piccy post from me showing a couple of scratchbuilt 'nefs' that will be part of a bigger fleet. I really like the Italian cross battery design of the 'Ruggiero di Lauria' class and I intend to make a few (eventually  ;) )

This one is 100mm long

And this one is 70mm

Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

A new one from me, twin-hulled airship. Made from four 2-litre lemonade bottles, a Branflakes packet, some electrical wire, two screws, a bit of a fishtank and some Lego:

James

They are made using a paper punch which my wife has for making greetings cards - scrapbooking/crafty shops like Hobbycraft have them. I was very pleased with the results, adds a bit more Victoriana I thought.

Here's a pianted version of Svennn's marvellous creation.

It's not quite finished as I'm re-painting the guns, it needs a touch up here and there and I need to add a radio mast. I Might add a searchlight too.

This one is the H.M.A.S Nimbus, a Cloudmaster Class frigate.

She looks luverley :-*

I really like the red colour as opposed to the usual blue/grey.

Mine however is still in its factory colours, shortly to be named the HMAS Cirrus, sister ship to the Nimbus and affectionately referred to as Lady Winifred by its crew after lady Winifred Bago. ;)

I think a wander to my local HobbyCraft (Team Valley Gateshead just down the road from the Angel) -need some stuff with either a lions head or outline/profile stamp/sticker/paper pumch or such to go on my land Ironclads. lovely shade of red goes great with the wood work reminds me of the interiors of victorian houses at Bemish open air museum or 19th century railway carriages
