I visited our local defense museum this summer with the prejudice position that it would be amatuerish anf paultry. How wrong was I!
The museum sports an *impressive* array of tanks and armoured vehicles and artillery pieces, especially from the interwar and WWII era. In retrospect, the reason for this is quite obvious: Gotland has always been of very high strategic value to Sweden and the have been aroured regiments here since that branch was developed within the Swedish defence forces. Unfortunately ther is no Stridsvagn m/21-29 (Leichter Kampfwagen II) as it was never deployed on Gotland (its strategic role was that of anti-insurrection deployment) but there are plenty of other imported and domestic riveted behemoths. Vickers, Landverks, Skoda, Scania, Volvo, Bofors etc.
