What are people out there using for their later period (1885+) Sudan Egyptian infantry in 28mm?

Thanks

hello..i've fllowed the same project
for what i'm aware of the only manufacture that offer 28mm late Sudan Egyptians is Essex:

http://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/collections/25mm-colonial/products/co26

i own some and they 're OK ..

Also, If you refer, broadly, to Egyptian Army reforms ..the black sudanese infantrymen in later equipment and uniform are an essential part of the army for the reconquest of Sudan..and you've more choice: Old Glory; again Essex , Conoisseur (Bicorne), Bicorne..
at finally if you really want everything historically correct for te cavalry/mounted/dismounted camerl Corps...you have to look at Hincliffe (trough Hind figures) ..OG mounted Egyptians painted in kaki are also an option

If I recall Essex calling their figures 28mm is a bit generous on their part. They are more like 25mm or small 28mm.

Castaway are from the pre-1885 timeframe.

Have plenty of Sudanese. Need >1885 Egyptians.

Not really..they are chunky and not too small...bigger that OG..and well compatible with others except Redoubt Sudan range

no they don't ..but, for me, they are nice..they also have a bagpiper which, in my opinion, was peculiar to the late reformed Egyptian Army...why don't you ask sample and compare it...
maybe i forgot to mention , speaking about the same subject, that Cavalry/Camel Corps from OG with puttees and right equipment can do for Egyptian mounted troops of after 1885...same thing for Hincliffe (Hinds) mounted and dismounted Egyptian CC...the dismounted one is a totally unknown (never seen a pict on the web) miniature but quite interesting..late equipment, puttees and jersey..quite tall/big could nicely could pass also for an infantrymen..maybe you can ask Ian Hinds a sample and study it...
