None of these guys or the IRA really look like "workers" militia - ordinary civilians and country folk in their best  clothes stood to and ready to defend house and hearth perhaps but hardly horny handed sons of toil. Where are the men in boilersuits and dungarees, bare headed or with flat caps or fedoras, shirt sleeves or jacket on top. Dockers, mill workers, mechanics and other "tradesmen". Those who have rushed from the factory and grabbed a rifle to defend their freedom from fascism.

Now that's my sort of figure; just what every frustrated armchair revolutionary would like to paint and lead into battle.
