I do love the mark one Skylark!

Judging by comments over on Facebook that seems to be a common opinion.  Not sure why the Mk I gets so much more love than the Mk II personally, but everyone seems to prefer these to the more recent sculpt.

Not that anybody's offered to buy them, despite the ooh-ing and aah-ing.  :\

I think that the softer, more irregular shapes is one of the reasons that Mk1 is prefered. It's like a bumblebee. A bumblebee with chin-mounted machineguns and a set of missiles.

I might get the Mk2 one day, but it does look a bit like a discarded Star Wars design.

I've got enough Mk1s for me, though...
