The Pikeman's lament in 15mm
« on: March 04, 2017, 10:56:26 PM »
After a couple of games I thought I'd do a quick review and a game write up of these rules. You can read them here and see the battle report using some of my 15mm collection: https://mellis1644.wordpress.com/2017/03/04/the-pikemans-lament-review/

Here is a sample pic

Good stuff! You give a good representation of the rules. Although I have read the rule book, I haven't played a game yet, my impression is that this is a very good evolution of the Lion Rampant system.

Looks like I'll be running a 6 player participation game at Hothead this month in Stratford, Ont in the Saturday evening session. Please come by and say hello/play if anyone is there. I'll try to post some photos of the game after it's done.

That's great news, I'm going to be at Hotlead and I'm not running games Saturday, so I'm going to try to get into your game to get a feel for Pikeman's Lament.  I have the rules and some crazy (3mm) plans for it, but haven't tried it out yet.
