Interior colours of a SdKfz 250/251
« on: February 11, 2007, 06:36:53 AM »
Hello:

I've got a model of one of this german troops transport waiting to be painted but I have no reference about the color of the inner compartment. Anyone could provide me a reference link? I'd like to see Afrika Korps and European theatre colors

Thanks!

Most photographs I´ve seen to date show an off-white paint coat for less visible areas; I seem to recall that the visible part of the APCs was painted the same base colour as the vehicle´s exterior.

Here are 2 (German) reviews of 2 (English) books about the Sd.Kfz.250.
http://www.panzer-modell.de/ausgepackt/archiv/totaldetail/td.htm
http://www.panzer-modell.de/monatstipp/mai05/tipp.htm

on the bottom of the first page you can see some sample photos of the book, showing the interior.
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...
