Traveller project - Vargr - page 3
« on: March 17, 2017, 11:41:27 PM »
I've started working on a Traveller skirmish campaign. First up on the force list is some Zhodani troopers. Converted from some Eldar.

I've got some terrain bits and vehicle conversions I'm working on as well. Hope to keep a good momentum and have more pictures soon.

Brings back memories.  Traveller was one of the best thought-out sci-fi games out there.

Actually a decent conversion.

Update with some new figures

Copplestone Troopers for Zyran Confederation soldiers.

Gunny. An SMG packing trooper on a long leave. Did someone say AWOL.

Free Trader Merchant crew.

Some gun toting civilians of a rebellious nature.

Good to see that I'm not the only one who covered up Hasslefree Pilot Vic's midriff (4th picture, 2nd from left) :D

I notice you've managed it with paint. I tried that, but it wasn't working for me, so I gave up and greenstuffed it to give it some volume. Greenstuffing an already primed and partially painted figure is not something I want to do on a regular basis ;D

Good to see the Copplestone figures as well. The project is coming along nicely :D

Thanks. Funny you mention it but I didn't even notice the bare area on the Pilot Vic until I compared her to the other version and had already painted the shirt.

Some scenery I did on the quick for a game of Starport Scum using the Dust Quonset huts, assorted armorcast bits, CD packaging and some toner cartridge packing.

Great collection of ne'er do wells and troopers there, and you always do a good line in weathered buildings.  Exactly how I pictured a scruffy Downport on some backwater planet six jumps away from a trade route!

Great looking table. I particularly like the tall climate adaptation unit (or whatever it is!). Tables need a few tall bits I always think :)

Those Zhodani are much, much better than any GW Eldar!  ;)

And that's a GREAT scenery, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Ship's Boat crew of the SD Boat Aiguchi, out of Gram in the Sword Worlds. Crew is done but still a lot of paint to put on the boat.

Crew is all Hasslefree, a joy to paint. Drones are GZG and the ship's boat is converted from a Tumbler Batmobile model.
