You could probably take on Giles in a race at this pace.

I fully endorse Romans. Although no one wants to paint the barbarian horde.

I don't think I quite there where I can keep up with Giles' superhuman speed.

Erik has already painted the barbarian horde.

I have not painted anymore pagans. But I have not been idle. I have started construction of a Motte and Bailey castle. Here are some early pics.

Now I just have to cut a lot of timber for the palisades.

The sun is shining, the queues in the construction markets stretch as far as the eye can seen and everywhere in the  residential neighborhoods the noise of lawn movers are heard. Nevertheless, you are hauled up in your gaming dungeon building a castle.

LOVING IT!!!!!

My grass is already cut. And I have been out go cart racing with Zombie junior. So I am allowed some time in my dungeon.

I am still cutting barricade timbers for my castle. And it is slowly taking shape. There is nothing to exciting to see in the fotos. They are mostly to document that work is progressing.

I have started texturing everything and painting should commence some time next week. I had a small distraction painting a 6mm Cold War army as seen on another board.

This is pre textures.

My i ask what glue you used to glue the palisade ?
Wooden glue or other type?

I ended up just using wood glue. I had planned on using hot glue but it ended up to difficult/fiddely  to place the palisades whilst the glue was still hot.

So in the end I made a small groove with my styrofoam cutter filled it with wood glue and placed the timbers in there.

Thank you for the info. :)
My only doubt is if stays strong enough with the wood glue.
I have a small tower and pailsade to make and i will try that way.

I have finished up the Bailey.

It is made to fit some boards made by my partner in crime Erik. I don't think I nailed the colors but it will do.
