A very enjoyable game and I found the rules were quite easy to learn, thanks Craig. More games of IHMN will follow. I think the Companie de Strigoi were lucky in that Dracule's power of levitation came in very handy, not only in the scenario I had chosen but also in the way the scenery was laid out. This was the result of serendipity and not my intention. However, the whole thing developed into a fun story. I hope you enjoy.

I've got the first three books, I shall now be buying the new one, Gothic.

Congratulations on a lovely set up, figures and scenario!   :-* I am preparing a couple of forces and reading through the rules, in preparation for my first game, and so reading AARs like this provide wonderful inspiration.  Thank you.

By the way, was that Comic Life that you used, please?  I ask because I have it and sometimes use it for AARs (turning it into a pdf to send to players), but I wondered how you go about posting pages from it onto here...?  Any tips would be greatly appreciated.  :)

Thanks again for the great AAR, and I look forward to more.

It is indeed Comic Life. When you export the finished article it normally defaults to PDF. However, there is an option to export it as a .jpg which you can then post here in the normal way. I use Photobucket.

I am awaiting next month's budget for that... I need to get some Victorians painted, though... *grumble*

I was actually planning to use a slightly younger Lord Snapcase (also sporting a big 'stache) from his time travelling the blank spots on the World Map.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I really do look forward to seeing that, Argonor. The Snapcases do get about, I may need to work on a family tree for them.   ;)

The surviving Transylvanian retainers arrested by Lestrade were put to work restoring order to the Emporium of Wonders. However, Scotland Yard are now investigating the legality of certain aspects of the Emporium's business dealings. Old Scrotum, the aged and wrinkled family retainer is currently packing for his employer's forthcoming sojourn abroad. Athelstan Snapcase does not fancy a stay at Her Majesty's Prison, Dartmoor and is heading for sunnier climes!   ;)
