For those interested,

We will be hosting the first ever public demonstration game of my miniature ruleset, "Brave Men, Badly Led" at Kublacon this Memorial Day Weekend in Burlingame California.

The game will feature the first edition in the series of what I hope to be a series of rules covering the forgotten conflicts of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. "Brave Men, Badly Led: 1846", subtitled "Napoleon of the West", provides rules for the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848.  The intent is to have the rules published by the summer. I will be doing final tweaking at the convention, although in truth the system is very close to complete at this point. Just have a few concepts I want to stress test a bit more.

Specifically, we'll be re-fighting the bloody Battle of Molino del Rey in September, 1847. The game will take place on the Friday of the convention at 7pm, and last about four hours. There should be room for seven players.

Hope to see some of my fellow LAF'ers there.

-Doc
