Ooops, sorry about that.

Yes, I was amused by the notion of The Prof's team battling a team with his own self portrait miniature in it  :)

Wow! More creepy clowns and circus folk to fill out a few nightmares... lol

However, the naturalistic shading and colors of the Back of Beyond group is so nice! For those who have not had the pleasure, which of the adventurers is the professor...?  :)

Yeah, I'm not so amused  ;)

Now I've got the angst of voting for the obviously better team, against my own self interest. I'm the one that's gonna' need psychoanalysis.  ;D

Both excellent entries gentlemen. Great effort on these. I'm liking the clown in the sewer especially :)

Thanks

This was tough, but I went with the figures I could play with.

Splendid work on both groups!  It's like the Superbowl of lead painters.   :)

Two very nice entries from two great miniature painters. Again I really like the cinematic scene the Prof presented, but I must also say: Bugsda, that's the real essence of the LPL - paint five figures, make a photo, take it to the competition! Fantastic.

Wonderful match-up! Both very different (plain background versus richly detailed terrain background), but with fascinating similarities too (the richness and depth of the colours on both!). I agree with Admiral Benbow - while I love those entries with rich and detailed terrain as much as the next guy, sometimes five figures in a line on a plain background can just jump off the screen, and really underline what the format can do. Bugsda's entry does that here, which is what makes the match-up so fascinating, as it's set off against the wonderful terrain background from the Prof, which of course creates its own wonderful effect too. Beautiful work from both of you, and a fascinating match-up. Is it really only Round Two?
