If (let's be honest, WHEN) I transition my post apoc gaming to 15mm, I think the above is a perfect set up. I really like the variations in layouts.

The bases of the tiles look very thin. Cork? Something else? I feel like linoleum tile might be a good base for such a layout.

Thanks, Andrew! It's made from 3mm cork (300x300mm large), with sidewalks made from foamcard.

Foam! I make mine out of cardboard, but the foam would be much more flexible. I have sheets of foam card form the dollar store. Most of it with funky textures already imprinted. That could be interesting to use.

So I had two evenings where I could go all in hobbying, the first time in a while. I'd love to be able to finish something, so that I have something to show.

I made a plan:
1. Finish building my cargo hauler
2. Build and paint some small generators

Idiot me couldn't stick to a simple plan, so all I can show is some unfinished stuff. I'm not sure about the red/dark metal colour scheme on the larger silo/generator/whatever, but I'm having high hopes for the teal generators. It irks me that I didn't finish anything, though...

I hate it to when I can finish something because of that four letter  word "Life" gets in the way, I mean really doesn't  it know anything about GAMING!

I gave it a try, making  the city streets with the sheets of cork as well, I may have to repaint the sidewalks and concrete  sections something a little darker.

Hey, those look really good, War Monkey!

I actually finished one piece yesterday: An atmospheric chamber/greenhouse/space zoo/prison cell. I'm not sure where I'll put it, but I think it turned out fine. It's the top of a travel mug/yoghurt container, a GZG hatch and some clump foliage.

Love your boards...I have a simmering 15mm project that just won't take flight. But this is fantastic inspiration and is telling me to get on it.

I really like the little teal generators. What are they made out of?

The atmospheric chamber looks like Trouble... pop-o-matic gardens? lol

Agree, the dome garden looks great! I'm  interested  in how the rest of you terrain stuff will turn out, once you get the opportunity to finish them what I see of them so far is they are look good. Keep up the great work!

Ockman, Thank You for the comment, like mentioned I still feel a lot of the concrete  stuff needs to be a little more darker in color, but I could leave sections in the lighter color giving it the feel of fresh concrete  pores.....

That's cool.  It looks very versatile.  It really could be a prison or a greenhouse.  It would be cool for Planet of The Apes!

I may have to borrow your idea . . .

Thanks, everyone!

The generators are built from halved bottle caps, halved 25mm round bases, 2mm plasticard square styrene and a thinly cut styrene tube.

Ah! Now I see it. The original picture made them look smooth and I thought maybe the halves were lengthwise down an aspirin bottle or something?

Consider this "borrowed with no intention to return" lol.

Also, I'm glad to see War Monkey put up his city streets build. That is probably priority #1 for my next gaming adventure, which means I need to knock out some Ockman style city tiles and enough buildings to fill them in a little over a week.

I agree with Cook "I have no plans to return it either". Great idea cutting caps and such in half, makes it a more in scale with 15mm's , then using the bubble gum ribbon package, which makes for nice giant generators!

I made the street tiles before leaving town so, I felt a little rushed too get them finished. Thank You
