I think that's amazing and the grass is fine!

Thank you everyone!!!

The only thing I dont like is the gras ... to green for this old house :D

As for the grass, i think it might be a bit of the postproduction that kinda enhanced the green saturation too much. I like the grey-green contrast, but it's true in this pictures it is a bit extreme. In flesh it's much more evident though.

Wow! :o I wouldn't worry too much about the grass! Once it's on a board it'll blend in! It's only a bit jarring because it's the only green seen in the photo!

Hopefully i'll make enough of them to blend! :) Thank you andy!

I'll try to make a few more houses in the future, but first i've got a serious amount of commissions to complete... Keep an eye on this thread though, hopefully it will continue soon! :)

Cheers
Jack

well, both in 28mm modern and 15mm scifi, plus a few more experiments due for this 28mm medieval project. Lots to do. :P

Cheers everyone!
A crappy picture from yesterday night, just showing that things are moving forward.

My intention is to have full two-sided modular parts to compose ruins, using the same modules that (when one sided) could work for larger buildings. Still have to engineer it through, but here's what it's done so far:

C&C welcome!

Cheers everyone! I managed to make good use of the windows and edges above, creating the first modular tall walls. Those will be used for other buildings together with the previous ones, so soon i'm expecting to have a few more blocks to share with you!

For now, here's a sneak pic:

C&C welcome!
Cheers

Some big update this time!

I started working on a new set of walls, this time a complete modular set of two-faced ruings, with larger jigsaws that allow THREE different angles for each couple.
So far i've done two short and two medium ruined sections. I should work on a third larger section couple, and a few "undamaged" walls as well.

Here's what I've so far, hopefully more to come.

Please share suggestions and critics, As i will have to do more in the next weeks, and i've better to know what i'm doing beforehand.

Thanks!
Jack

Damn, but that's pretty work.

Thanks Cubs! :) I'm going to use them with the figures you just sent me, they fit very well together!
And, as for now, there are 12 possible combinations. Every further piece will increase the number significantly.
Can't wait to have a few undamaged parts to build towers too!

Any other idea?

Thanks
Jack

Superb again!  :o :o :-*

Any other idea?

Fireplaces?

I made these some years ago (various stages of construction, the left one is 18th C. the other two are c.1900).

It gives more personality to the interior of houses but also to destroyed houses. When you see pictures of a burned house in the newspaper after a fire the most impressive remaining feature between the broken walls is often the fireplace and chimney.

It's important to care for your well being.
(good idea though!)

Superb again!  :o :o :-*

Fireplaces?

That's something that would work VERY well with stonework, i just don't think it would be great for modularity: any upper level must have the fireplace socket too, but i might do it as a single-ruined piece not to be joined to anything else, i guess!

BTW, now working on some undamaged sections. Ruins coming soon!

Door and solid undamaged section done!

Next ones in queue: 2 cm damaged wall sections, to be used on upper floors or as simple short walls.

C&C and more suggestions are always welcome!
