Review of Plast Craft Games' Japanese castle buildings
« on: April 14, 2017, 04:14:51 AM »
Ever since I first started collecting 28mm samurai figures, I've yearned for a Japanese castle to go with them. That dream is finally coming true!

Over the years I've seen a few castle models advertised on the internet, but they were either too expensive, or didn't quite capture how I thought a Japanese castle should look.

But when I spotted the latest new models in Plast Craft Games' Fukei range, I realised straight away that they would fit both the traditional appearance and the affordable cost I  was after.

Here's a photo review I've just done of these buildings:

Looks great already ordered some. However, did any one notice that the tower does not have any door to get in!!!!!
I may be wrong and when I get my order I will let you know.

Thanks for this. I have the first round pagoda from them and it's been giving me a devil of a time with assembling it. My CA just isn't working, and that's even after getting a fresh bottle in case it was getting old. I've already rage quit the piece twice. I suspect if I can get the rest of the corner pieces done I'll be through with the worst of it.

But it sounds like the pre-colored kits might be another story. None of these are quite doing it for me, but I'll give the rest of their line another look.

Any one have any drawings or photos of what the "doors" or entrances should be on these. Also has any one tried to add interiors to these, I plan on using for Ronin so would love to be able to have figures inside towers and gateway.
